Periferiche Visioni was projected and coordinated by Alessandra Ferraro
and Pako Graziani of the Margine Operativo theatre group, promoted by
the Comune di Roma - Assessorato alle politiche per le Periferie e per
il Lavoro e dal Municipio Roma 6 e Municipio Roma 7
The suburbs are places that are pulsing with life especially in the
big cities. The suburbs are “half-way areas” and therefore
wonderful laboratories for novelty and contemporary expression, where
backgrounds, cultures, languages blend. Places that are not places but
hybrids, symbols of our time, where everything is extremelt vital.,
because life flows through those areas.
>
PERIPHERAL VISIONS is a complex, pluriarticulated, multiple event/organism
made up of: theatre and dance performances, children’s shows, installations,
video and music projections.
During its tour it visits “out of the way” areas and usually
“not designed for” art - the Pigneto pedestrian area, Piazza
dei Gerani at Centocelle and the Anphitheatre at Tor Tre Teste –
and it interacts with the places it visits
Every day will be made up of a continual flow where different shows
and different artistic expressions alternate.
The axis of this flow is "TELERADIO METROPOLI" an installation
and a show between theatre/radio/video/television of Margine Operativo.
"TeleRadio Metropoli", it is a show that never repeats itself,
each time it’s different, it’s live television and performing
radio, it narrates the metropolis and its myriads of voices.

Video, especially for the occasion was made exactly where the eventi
is being held. A picture and a story of the suburbs
As "Periferiche Visioni" is a homage to everyday life and
to the people who live it, the event is completely free for citizens
/spectators.
